MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Infighting among Taliban fighters left the group's local commander dead in Kunduz Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Monday (December 10).
The clash broke out Sunday (December 9) in Chahar Dara District that killed the Taliban local commander, Malem Sher, said the statement. One militant was wounded.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
