KABUL -- Afghan security forces killed at least 48 Taliban militants in the past two weeks in Kandahar Province, TOLOnews reported Monday (January 7), citing local security officials.
The operations, which have air support from NATO's Resolute Support Mission, began in Shah Wali Kot District December 26 and are continuing, officials said.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
