GARDEZ -- A bomb killed at least two Afghans and wounded 22 other civilians Tuesday (January 8) in Khost city, capital of Khost Province, the 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday.
Terrorists detonated the explosives, mounted on a motorbike, in the Spin Jumaat area, said the statement, without providing further details.
No militant group, including the Taliban, took responsibility.
This came a days after a roadside bomb killed at least eight civilians and wounded 12 others Monday (January 7) near a market in Janikhail District, Paktika Province.
How likely are the Taliban to hold direct peace talks with the Afghan government before presidential elections in July?
