Coalition air strikes kill 6 militants in Nangarhar, Kapisa

LAGHMAN -- Air strikes by coalition forces have killed at least six militants in the past 48 hours in Kapisa and Nangarhar provinces, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (January 22).

A strike hit Taliban militants Monday (January 21) in Alasay District, killing at least two, said the statement.

Separately, coalition forces carried out aerial attacks on members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) terrorist group in Haska Mina and Achin districts, Nangarhar Province, killing at least four militants, added the same statement.
