KABUL -- National Directorate of Security (NDS) special forces killed at least 11 Taliban militants and wounded three others in an operation in Kunduz Province, the NDS tweeted Thursday (January 31).
Afghan forces carried out the operation in Khanabad District, said the statement, without providing details on when it occurred.
Three prominent Taliban leaders were among those killed, according to the statement.
