KANDAHAR -- Police in Kandahar Province arrested the Taliban shadow governor for Tarnak Aw Jaldak District, Zabul Province, Kandahar Acting Police Chief Gen. Tadeen Khan said Sunday (February 10).
Police arrested the suspect during operations in Arghistan District, he said in a tweet.
The Taliban deputy governor for Tarnak Aw Jaldak District and four other militants were killed in the operations, he added.
