HELMAND -- Afghan commandos freed seven hostages from a Taliban prison in Helmand Province, the Special Operations Corps said in a statement Sunday (February 10).
The operations were conducted Saturday night (February 9) in Washir District, said the statement.
The commandos killed a Taliban militant during the operations.
