KABUL -- The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said its special forces raided several Taliban facilities in Nimroz Province, Khaama Press reported Thursday (March 14).
The special forces hit a hideout, prison and a drug lab in Dilaram and Khashrod districts, the NDS said in a statement, without providing further details on the timing.
Troops seized 10 tonnes of drugs as well as weapons belonging to the militants, it added. One militant was killed.
The facilities belonged to local Taliban leaders Mullah Salaam, also known as Haji Saboor, and Mawlawi Hashim, also known as Hanzala.
