LAGHMAN -- A coalition air strike killed at least five members of "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) in Nangarhar Province, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Thursday (March 28).
The strike hit the militants Wednesday (March 27) in the Bagh Dara and Bandar areas of Achin District, said the statement.
The latest strike came after Afghan forces killed up to 87 ISIS fighters in a 14-hour-long operation in the same district Monday (March 25).
