Coalition air strikes kill 13 militants in Paktika, Ghazni

GARDEZ -- Coalition air strikes killed at least 13 militants in two separate operations in Paktika and Ghazni provinces, the 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (April 9).

Air strikes hit the militants in the Malik Shahi and Ganchi areas of Barmal District, Paktika Province, killing eight of them, according to the statement.

Separately, two air attacks killed five militants in Andar and Nawa districts of Ghazni Province, it said.

Officials did not say when the air strikes took place.
