MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Afghan forces killed six Taliban members and wounded six others after the militants attacked the centre of Tashkan District, Badakhshan Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Monday (April 15).
The clash erupted Sunday (April 14) night after the militants stormed the district from several directions, the statement said.
No Afghan soldiers or civilians were harmed, it added.
