BALKH -- Afghan special police units arrested a key Taliban commander -- identified as Yousuf -- in Balkh Province Sunday (May 5) and found 11 bottles of alcohol at his residence, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on Monday (May 6).
The operation took place in Nahr-e-Shahi District, the ministry said.
Troops also confiscated weapons belonging to the militant, it added.
We did expect this from the non-Muslim Taliban.
