LAGHMAN -- Coalition air strikes killed at least 19 Taliban militants in Maidan Wardak, Ghazni and Paktia provinces, the 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (May 7).
A strike hit the militants in Syedabad District, Maidan Wardak Province, killing at least five of them, the army said.
Three more militants were killed after an air strike targeted them in Qarabagh District, Ghazni Province, according to the statement.
Another operation killed 11 Taliban fighters in Zurmat District, Paktia Province, it added.
