KABUL -- Police in Maidan Wardak Province foiled an attempted suicide bombing, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Wednesday (May 15).
Officers gunned down the would-be suicide bomber before he reached the government headquarters of Syedabad District, the statement said.
It gave no details on the timing of the incident.
