MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Afghan forces killed at least two Taliban members and wounded three others in a clash in Balkh Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement on Thursday (May 23).
The fighting erupted Wednesday evening (May 22) in the Gurtapa area of Chahar Bolak District, the army said.
No civilians were harmed, it added.
