KABUL -- An Afghan air strike killed the Taliban shadow governor for Logar Province and two of his deputies, the Defence Ministry said in a statement Friday (June 28).
The strike was carried out in Charkh District, said the statement without providing details on the timing.
The Taliban official in charge of intelligence for Ghazni, Logar, Khost, Paktia and Kabul provinces was also killed, it added.
The Taliban denied the casualties.
