KANDAHAR -- The Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF) killed at least 16 Taliban militants in Kandahar Province, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Thursday (July 11).
Troops conducted the operation Wednesday (July 10) in Arghistan District, said the statement.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
