KAPISA -- A premature blast killed two Taliban explosives specialists in Kapisa Province, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (July 31), citing a statement by the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army (ANA). The ANA did not specify the date.
The two militants were killed while attempting to plant an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Afghania Valley of Nejrab District, Khaama Press cited the statement as saying.
Meanwhile, an IED detonated inside a vehicle carrying Taliban militants in Kunar Province, the army said in a separate statement.
The IED went off as it was being transported in Chapa Dara District, killing one militant and wounding four others.
