Roadside bomb kills civilian in Nangarhar
NANGARHAR -- A roadside bomb killed one civilian and wounded nine others in Nangarhar Province, the provincial press office said in a statement Friday (August 23).
The incident took place Friday morning near the Khogyani District bazaar, said the statement.
Two of the injured were in critical condition, the statement added.
No group immediately claimed responsibility. The Taliban regularly plant roadside bombs in an attempt to target Afghan forces.
