KABUL -- An Afghan air strike killed at least seven Taliban militants in Badakhshan Province, the Defence Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday (September 4).
The strike hit the militants Wednesday in Warduj District, the ministry said.
At least 100 Taliban militants have been killed in Afghan operations, the ministry added, without specifying the length of time or location.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
