KANDAHAR -- Afghan troops in Kandahar and Helmand provinces killed 35 militants over the past few days, said officials.
Eight militants, including two commanders, were killed in a battle in Mianshin District Monday (May 1), Kandahar provincial police told Pajhwok Afghan News Tuesday (May 2).
Police carrying out a clearance operation in Garmsir District, Helmand Province, killed 27 militants Tuesday (May 2), said the Public Order Police in a statement Wednesday (May 3), according to TOLO News.
