KABUL -- Air strikes and an accidental explosion killed 12 militants in Takhar and Balkh provinces, Khaama Press reported.
The air strikes killed 11 militants, including a Taliban shadow district chief, in Khwaja Bahauddin District, Takhar Province, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (May 3).
A Taliban member trying to plant a roadside bomb in Chamtal District, Balkh Province, was killed when it exploded prematurely, according to the Afghan National Army Wednesday.
