KABUL -- A military court in Afghanistan has sentenced four Afghan military officers to death for murder, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (November 15).
Gen. Dawlat Waziri, spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Defence, announced the sentences Tuesday (November 14) in Kabul.
Waziri, speaking with reporters, did not provide any details regarding the homicide.
The military court has reviewed about 1,700 cases since the start of the year, said Waziri.
