KANDAHAR -- The NATO-led Resolute Support Mission is expected to deliver 50 more helicopters to the Afghan military soon, President Ashraf Ghani said Tuesday (June 12) in Kandahar.
Ghani made his remarks while speaking to the officers and personnel of the 205th Atal Corps, according to a statement from the presidential palace.
Afghanistan has 13 UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, of which eight are operational, according to the Ministry of Defence.
