LAGHMAN -- A coalition air strike in Nangarhar Province killed Aziz Azam, spokesman for "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS)'s Khorasan branch (ISIS-K), the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Thursday (December 27).
The strike occurred two days ago in Pacheragam District, said the Thursday statement.
Azam was also in charge of recruitment for the terrorist group and was involved in killing civilians.
