KABUL -- At least seven militants were killed and another arrested during separate operations in Nangarhar and Takhar provinces, while a policeman was killed in a Kabul blast, media reported.
A magnetic bomb blast in Kabul killed one policeman and wounded another early September 14, TOLO News reported. The bomb was planted on a police vehicle and was detonated in the Dehmazang area of the city, eyewitnesses said.
Meanwhile, security forces killed at least six Taliban and arrested another during a joint operation in Bati Kot District of Nangarhar Province, Ataullah Khogyani, the governor's spokesman, said September 13, according to Pajhwok Afghan News.
Another militant was killed in a local uprising group fighters' attack in Chah Aab District, Takhar Province, Sunnatullah Taimur, the governor's spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News September 13.
