Afghan forces kill 13 Taliban in Kunduz

KABUL -- Afghan troops killed at least 13 Taliban members, including a commander named Mullah Ramazan, during a joint operation in Kunduz city, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (December 21).

The troops cleared many neighbourhoods in the provincial capital of militants, the Ministry of Interior said, according to Khaama Press.

Meanwhile, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) recently thwarted a terror plot in Kabul by seizing three suicide vests, six magnetic bombs and several other types of weapons and explosives in a local raid, the NDS said in a statement, Khaama Press reported Thursday (December 22).
