LONDON -- Pakistan and Afghanistan Thursday (March 16) agreed to form a joint counter-terrorism strategy, TOLO News reported.
The consensus emerged from a London tri-partite meeting of the national security advisors of Pakistan, Afghanistan and the UK. The gathering lasted two days.
Pakistan wants a stable and peaceful Afghanistan, said Sartaj Aziz, advisor on foreign affairs to Pakistani Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
His UK counterpart, Mark Lyall Grant, called on Pakistan and Afghanistan to fight terrorism jointly.
