Security forces clear Helmand roads, kill 120 militants

HELMAND -- Security forces re-opened roads between Lashkargah and Nad-e-Ali districts, Helmand Province, Wednesday (March 15), killing at least 120 militants, reported TOLO News.

Militants controlled the roads for almost six months, said Afghan National Army Gen. Abdul Hadi, adding that the operation to evict them lasted nine days.
