KABUL -- The National Directorate of Security (NDS) arrested a suspected member of the terrorist Haqqani Network, potentially thwarting suicide attacks in two provinces, Khaama Press reported Tuesday (April 11).
Watan Khan was supposed to co-ordinate attacks in Parwan and Nangarhar provinces, said the NDS.
The NDS also arrested a group of six suspected militants accused of terrorist acts in Kandahar Province, said the NDS in another statement, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (April 12).
