KABUL -- Kabul will host an international peace conference next week, Afghanistan Times reported Tuesday (May 30).
Twenty countries are likely to send delegations to the event, said Zardasht Shams, the deputy chief of mission at the Afghan embassy in Islamabad.
The conference is meant to inform stakeholders of the on-going situation in Afghanistan and to preserve the joint fight against terrorism, said Shams.
