KUNDUZ -- Afghan troops conducting air and ground operations killed 58 militants in various parts of Kunduz Province in a 24-hour span, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Afghanistan Times reported Wednesday (July 5).
The dead included some Taliban commanders, including a shadow district chief, said the MoD. It identified the Talawka and Angorbagh areas as locations of the fighting.
