KABUL -- Troops killed at least 38 insurgents in a 24-hour span in 15 provinces, the Afghanistan Times reported Wednesday (July 12), quoting the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
The 38 dead included two members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS).
The operations received support from the Afghan air force, added the MoD.
