KABUL -- Three Afghans, including two children, were killed by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Kabul Thursday (August 3), Kabul police spokesman Basir Mujahid told Salaam Times.
A land mine "exploded in the 17th district" at about 7.30am, said Mujahid.
"Two children were killed, as well as a driver working for the [nearby] security outpost," eyewitness Mohammad Shikaib told Salaam Times.
