BAGHLAN -- Troops killed six Taliban insurgents who were trying to block a strategic road in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan Times reported Monday (September 18).
The Taliban were trying to block a road between Pul-i-Khumri and Shashma-e-Shir District, but the Afghan National Police foiled the attempt, said the Ministry of Interior.
No civilians or security personnel were injured.
