KABUL -- Afghan security forces foiled a rocket attack on Kabul days after militants carried out a similar attack on Kabul International Airport September 27, Khaama Press reported Tuesday (October 3), citing security officials.
The troops Monday (October 2) seized eight Russian-made rockets that militants had hidden in Chakari village, which the militants intended to fire at Kabul during Ashura, according to the Interior Ministry.
