NANGARHAR -- Fighting between Taliban and "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) militants in Nangarhar Province has left at least five of them dead, Khaama Press reported Thursday (October 19).
The clashes broke out near Khogyani District, the provincial government media office said in a statement.
Two ISIS fighters and three Taliban militants were killed.
The dead included a local Taliban leader, Ismail aka Fawad, added the statement.
Neither ISIS nor the Taliban have responded.
