LAGHMAN -- A coalition air strike killed at least six members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS), including the group's commander, Sher Alam, in Nangarhar Province, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Wednesday (October 3).
The strike hit the militants' hideout in the Wazir Tangi area of Khogyani District, said the statement without providing further details on the timing of the strike.
No civilians were harmed, the statement said.
