KABUL -- Afghanistan’s National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF) have killed at least 57 Taliban militants, including the group's senior commander, during various operations in the past one week in Farah Province, the Afghan Interior Ministry said in a statement Wednesday (December 5).
"13 different types of IEDs and some amount of light and heavy rounds of ammunition were also seized," said the statement, referring to improvised explosive devices.
Authorities discovered a vehicle packed with explosives during the operations, the statement added.
