KABUL -- Afghan security forces killed the Taliban shadow governor for Paktika Province during a special operation in Gomal District, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Saturday (December 8).
The suspect, identified as Pir Agha, was killed December 7 along with his four fighters in Deh Khalifa village, said the statement.
Police seized weapons and documents belonging to the militants during the operation, the statement added.
