GHAZNI -- Air strikes killed at least 31 terrorists in Ghazni Province, the Defence Ministry said in a statement Wednesday (March 13).
The strikes hit a military base belonging to al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), a wing of al-Qaeda, the statement said, without providing details on when they occurred.
The terrorists were led by a man identified as Qari Aref.
Those killed included nine would-be suicide bombers, it added.
