NANGARHAR -- A roadside bomb killed a 10-year old girl in Achin District, Nangarhar Province, the provincial press office said in a statement Tuesday (June 18).
The incident took place Monday (June 17) in the Mamand Bagh area, said the statement.
Officials blamed members of "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS).
Another woman lost a leg, the statement added.
