KABUL -- Afghan troops killed nine Taliban during Operation Pamir 1 in Kunduz city, Pajhwok Afghan News reported Tuesday (December 20), quoting police commander Lt. Col. Shir Aziz Kamawal.
The forces lost one of their own men in the operation, which cleared the Taliban out of Chaharahi Hazrat Sultan locality in Kunduz city.
Troops began conducting the operation early on Tuesday.
