KABUL -- More than 20 militants, including a Taliban commander, were killed in an explosion in Zabul Province, officials said.
The militants, who included some foreign fighters, were killed when a bomb that they were building exploded in Arghandab District Sunday (January 29), provincial police said, according to a Monday (January 30) Khaama Press report.
Separately, security forces in Kunduz Province arrested two Taliban leaders in separate raids, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Monday (January 30).
