BAGHLAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan -- Afghan forces have regained control of Tala Wa Barfak District, Baghlan Province, inflicting heavy casualties on militants, Khaama Press reported Friday (March 3).
The Taliban moved into the district Wednesday (March 1) but troops re-took the district administrative centre early Friday, the governor's spokesman Mahmood Haqmal confirmed.
