KABUL -- Security forces killed 141 militants across Afghanistan in a 48-hour span, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said Monday (April 24), according to TOLO News.
At least 80 "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) militants were killed by Afghan air strikes in Nangarhar and Ghor provinces, said the MoD.
Troops killed 61 militants in four other provinces, added the MoD.
