TIRIN KOT -- Afghan troops killed 113 Taliban militants in Tirin Kot, Uruzgan Province, while retaking the city, said an army commander Sunday (May 14).
Security forces drove the Taliban out of the Shash Mansour area of Tirin Kot, Afghan National Army (ANA) Brig. Gen. Ghulam Hazrat told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The troops seized dozens of land mines and destroyed 23 vehicles, he said.
