HELMAND -- A key Taliban leader has been killed in an air strike in Helmand Province, the provincial government media office said on Facebook Wednesday (December 20).
A Taliban commander identified as Qari Fida Mohammad was killed alongside several of his fighters in Marjah District Wednesday, the statement said.
The commander was involved in battling troops in Helmand Province, it added.
Officials gave no further details.
