FARYAB -- Afghan security forces have killed a high-ranking Taliban commander in an ambush in Faryab Province, Khaama Press reported Thursday (February 1).
A Taliban commander identified as Mullah Yar Mohammad and one of his associates were killed late Wednesday (January 31) in Khwaja Sabz Posh District, said officials of the Afghan National Army.
Security personnel confiscated two AK-47s and a motorcycle belonging to the militants, said the officials.
