KUNDUZ -- Two Taliban militants were killed Monday (March 5) by their own explosives in Kunduz Province, according to a statement Tuesday (March 6) from the Afghan Ministry of Interior.
The incident took place in Kunduz city while the militants were making roadside bombs, the statement said.
The explosion killed two militants identified as Qari Khalid and Noorullah, who had been involved in several terrorist incidents throughout the province, said the statement.
